I am a highly passionate Australian-Brazilian born designer and artist. My design and art work are distinctive and creative; reflecting my life experiences and dreams. I am constantly inspired by my surroundings: the people, the fashion, the architecture and colours.

Having a background in Industrial Design, I now work as an exhibition designer and operate my own design business Emilia Rossi. design and art. As a practising artist I have participated in many group and solo design and art exhibitions. My exhibition titled Latin Spirit showcases my characteristically large and brightly coloured abstract paintings; homage to my latin heritage.

Being such a motivated and passionate individual I design and paint without any reservations. Art and design allow me to document my life experiences and dreams. I enjoy the challenges of designing, discovering new techniques and refining my artistic style. My design and artwork reflect my lively personality and my passion for life using bright, strong and bold colours. It wasn't until I received my first professional set of coloured pencils that I drew my first full colour design on paper. This drawing inspired me to do my first large canvas painting in 1998 titled Aggression.

I am immersed in the art and design industry globally, and enjoy exposing my latin spirit to other cultural influences. I will keep creating and exhibiting as my art and design work continue
to evolve.
